Some MPs Call for the Special Session

Some members of the Georgian parliament call for the special session to be convened to discuss assault on Rustavi 2 TV company – Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee announced at 10:30.

The committee convened today to discuss the issue. MPs called on President to take the decision on convening the session within two days. President of Georgia Shevardnadze ordered the Prosecutor General’s office to investigate into the entry of the security officials and report within two days.
