Prosecutors Office Says Tsiskarishvili is Involved in Drug Business

Prosecutor-General’s Office investigates parliamentarian Petre Tsiskarishvili over involvement in illegal drug business.

Tsiskarishvili, head of secretariat of the former parliamentary chairman Zurab Zhvania, denies the accusation and says that the Prosecutor’s decision is a part of battle of the government against the reformers.

On May 7th this year Petre Tsiskarishvili and his fiancee were kidnapped to Pankisi gorge. Identity of the kidnapers and their motives remain unknown . However information has leaked from the law enforcement structures, that Tsiskarishvili’s kidnapping has been connected to his participation in drug business.
