Nino Burjanadze – The Most Likely Candidate for the Post of Chairman of the Parliament

Nino Burjanadze is most likely to take the post of the Chairman of the Parliament, “Civil Georgia” correspondent reports, quoting reliable sources in the Parliament.

The Parliamentary factions are consulting on the issue and the most of the factions have already agreed on Burjanadze’s candidature.

Nino Burjanadze is the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations and is regarded to be a member of Zurab Zhvania’s ‘reformers team’.
