Parliament Against Changes in Structure of the Government
(Tbilisi. November 20. Civil Georgia) – Today the Parliament discusses changes in structure of the government proposed by the President. President’s proposal considers merger of the Ministry of Tax Revenues with the Ministry of Finance along with other changes.
The majority of parliament members believe that changes in the government structure are premature and therefore they will be ineffective. Parliamentarians intend to not to support the Presidential initiative. Voting is scheduled for this evening.
After the discussion of the issue parliamentarians should initiate debates on the candidatures for the ministerial posts.
