The Parliament Rejects Structural Changes in the Government
(Tbilisi. November 20. Civil Georgia) – As anticipated 119 MPs voted against the structural changes in the executive government and only 11 – supported. President’s proposal considered merger of the Ministry of Tax Revenues with the Ministry of Finance along with other changes.
The majority of parliament members believe that changes in the government structure are premature and therefore they will be ineffective.
