President Holds a Special Meeting on Bombardment

(Tbilisi. November 28. Civil Georgia) – President Shevardnadze holds a special meeting concerning the bombardment of Pankisi gorge at the moment. Together with the power ministers Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze participates in the meeting.

Representatives of State Security Ministry investigating the case of bombardment are already on the place of incident.

According to the regional police in Akhmeta, eastern Georgia, after the bombardment on November 27 local population of the gorge is in panic and flees from Pankisi.
