Shevardnadze Meets Putin

(Tbilisi. November 30. Civil Georgia) – President Shevardnadze meets his Russian counterpart at the moment. Shevardnadze intended to make strict statements at the CIS summit concerning the bombardment of Pankisi gorge, Georgia by the Russian aircrafts, but Georgian President changed his mind and decided to talk on the issue with the Russian President.

Vladimer Putin denied that the Russian warplanes attacked the Georgian territory and accused Georgia in harboring Chechen and Arab mercenaries in Pankisi today.

Eduard Shevardnadze intends to submit the documents to Vladimer Putin proving that the Russian warplanes have attacked Georgia.
