MP Says: Chechen Representation in Georgia is Involved in Abduction Cases

(Tbilisi. December 4. Civil Georgia) – The faction Socialist leader Vakhtang Rcheulishvili demanded to close down so called representation of Chechnya in Georgia. 

Rcheulishvili stated that head of the representation Khizri Aldamov is involved in the abduction cases in Pankisi gorge and mediates between the kidnappers and abducted citizens’ relatives.

The Chechen representation in Georgia has no legal status and supports rebels in Chechnya fighting against the Russian federal forces. Russian government demanded Georgian authorities to close down the representation for several times.
