Parliamentary Chairperson Disappointed

(Tbilisi. December 5. Civil Georgia) – Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze expressed disappointment concerning the approval of the ministerial candidates by the Parliament who are holdovers from the previous government, sacked by the President on November 1.

“MP criticize the President for proposing the ex-ministers’ candidatures, but they have no right to do so, because the Parliament approved most of the proposed Presidential nominees,” Nino Burjanadze stated.

The Parliament has already approved the most of the ministerial candidates. Only Property Management, Protection of Environment and Natural Resources and State Ministers’ post are vacant so far.
