Georgia Prime Source of Threat for Russia?
(Tbilisi. December 11. Civil Georgia) – “There are territories in Georgia, which are not being controlled by anyone and actually are occupied by foreign mercenaries,” Defense Minister of Russian Sergei Ivanov state today, Russian news agency Interfax reports.
Ivanov stated that Russia regards overall situation on the Russian-Georgian borderline as complicated. “This is a prime source of problems and threats for security of Russia from the Georgian side,” Russian Defense Minister announced.
Russian President Vladimer Putin also blames Georgia in hourbounig terrorists. “Chechen and Arab terrorists actually are occupying the northern territory of Georgia,” Putin state at the CIS summit in Moscow on November 30.
Georgia denies the accusation and blames Russia of bombing its territories.
