Two More Radiation Sources Found in Georgia?

(Tbilisi, January 12, Civil Georgia) – According to the preliminary information two sources of radiation are found in village of Jvari, Tsalenjikha region, western Georgia. 

Environment and Natural Resources Minster Nino Chkhobadze plans to visit the village on January 12.

One radiation source was already found in Tsalenjikha region in December 2001. Three local villagers were imposed to radioactive source, which is believed to be strontium 90.
