Officials Deny Bombardment of Kodori

(Tbilisi, January 31, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze denied information concerning the bombardment of Kodori gorge, the only territory in breakaway region of Abkhazia.

“We checked the information and I do not confirm fact that Kodori was bombed,” Davit Tevzadze stated at the news conference on January 31.

MP Iveri Chelidze stated at the Parliamentary session on January 31 squpting a local resident that Kodori gorge was bombed last night by the unidentified warplanes.
