Armenia, Georgia Agreed on Postponement of Debt Payment
(Tbilisi, February 12, Civil Georgia) – Armenian Foreign Minister and Georgian Finance Minister signed an agreement on postponement of Georgia’s $19,6 million debt payment to Armenia for 5 years on February 12.
The sides agreed to reduce annual interest rate from 4 to 3%. Georgia should repay the debt until 2021.
Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Vartan Oskanian pays two-day official visit to Georgia on February 11-12.
