Pankisi Should Be Discussed in the Frames of International Terrorism – Russian Security Chief

(Tbilisi, February 21, Civil Georgia) – Chief of Russian Security Service Nikolai Patrushev stated today before the meeting with his Georgia counterpart that issue of Pankisi gorge should be discussed in the frames of international terrorism.

“In March representatives of security services of deferent states will gather in St. Petersburg where the Pankisi issue together with the Afghanistan and Chechnya will be discussed,” Patrushev stated.

Head of Russia Federal Security Service arrived in Tbilisi on February 21. Meeting with the Georgian President Shevardnadze is planned.
