Shevardnadze and Russian Security Chief Discussed Security Cooperation
(Tbilisi, March 4, Civil Georgia) – Russian National Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushailo met Georgian President Shevardnadze in Tbilisi on March 2.
Rushailo and Shevardnadze discussed security cooperation issues and the situation in Pankisi gorge.
Vladimir Rushailo proposed to hold a meeting of National Council Secretaries of four Caucasus states [Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Russia] in March in order to activate security cooperation in the region.
Russian National Security Council Secretary visited Tbilisi on March 2. Vladimer Rushailo attended funerals of former Georgian Security Council Secretary Nugzar Sajaia, who committed suicide on February 25.
