US Trained Georgian Troops will not Be Used in Abkhazia, South Ossetia

(Tbilisi, March 8, Civil Georgia) – US special envoy for talks on conflicts in Eurasia Rudolf Perin stated US trained Georgian army units will not be used in the conflicts in breakaway Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Rudolf Perin met Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Valeri Loshchinin on March 7 and discussed situation in the conflict zones of Abkhazia, Nagorna Karabakh and South Ossetia.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stated that both sides are for the peaceful solution of conflicts in the former Soviet Republics.
