New Deputy State Minister Appointed
(Tbilisi, April 4, Civil Georgia) – President Shevardnadze appointed Mamuka Nikoleishvili on the post of the Deputy State Minister on April 4.
He will be responsible for energy issues. This is a new post and Mamuka Nikoleishvili is the first person on the post.
Nikoleishvili was a supposed to take Fuel Energy Minister post after the President Shevardnadze sacked the entire government last November.
Mamuka Nikoleishvili is known as a close associate of the Georgian President’s son Paata Shevardnadze.
