Russia Wants Apologize for Detention of Military Convoy

Group of Russian Armed Forces in Trace-Caucasus expresses surprise that the Georgian side has not apologized for detention of two Russian military trucks for three days.

Russian military convoy was detained late on April 3 near Mtskheta, 20 km away from Georgian capital Tbilisi.

According to the Georgian Defense Ministry the Group of Russian Armed Forces in Trans-Caucasus [headquarters in Tbilisi] did not informed the Georgian side regarding the movement of the military convoy.

The trucks were inspected by the Georgian and Russian sides on April 6 and after released. Russian military trucks transported cloths for Russian soldiers.
