President Dissatisfied with Speed of Overcoming Economic Crisis

“Georgia is gradually overcoming economic crises, but this is not sufficient. That is why I had to make strict statement towards the government members,” Georgian President Shevardnadze stated in the radiobroadcast on April 8.

Eduard Shevardnadze at the government’s meeting on April 3 threatened all the ministers with dismissal.

“If I see in the nearest 2-3 months that the government is not ready for defeating corruption I will dismiss the Ministers”, President Shevardnadze said.

Georgian President stated today that there are enough resources to overcome crises and they should be used.
