MP Says Interior Minister Responsible for Violations During the Locals

(Tbilisi, June 7, Civil Georgia) – “You have done everything to hold chaotic local elections, because the law enforcers were to prevent valances in Rustavi and other towns of Georgia,” Elene Tevdoradze, former Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights told Interior Minister Koba Narchemashvili at the Parliamentary session today.

Elene Tevdoradze said that situation is not improved in the Interior Ministry after Koba Narchemashvili was appointed on the post last year.

Another MP Merab Tkeshelashvili stated that policemen were among the person who hijacked the voting ballots from Rustavi town.

Koba Narchemashvili refused to name of suspects in hijacking of ballots and organizes of the act because investigation is on at the moment.
