Parliamentary Commission to Investigate Violations During the Locals

(Tbilisi, June 8, Civil Georgia) – Parliament adopted a statement at the session on June 7, condemning violations during the local self-governance election on June 2.

According to the statement a special Parliamentary commission will be created which is to investigate reasons of numerous procedural violations during the locals.

The special commission is to report on the results of the investigation to the Parliament within the month after the commission is composed.
