Russia Demands from Georgia to Extradite Terrorist Suspects

(Tbilisi, June 18, Civil Georgia) – Russian General Prosecutor’s Office requests from the Georgian law enforcement agencies to detain and extradite three persons suspected in explosions of the apartment building in Russian town of Volgodonsk.

Russian media sources report quoting Deputy General Prosecutor of Russia Sergei Fridinsky, that according to the investigation, residents of Karachevo-Cherkesk (North Caucasus) are hiding in Georgia’s Pankisi gorge.

18 people died and 300 injured after the terrorist attack in Volgodonsk in 1999.
