Award Provided for Information about Kidnapped

(Tbilisi, June 21, Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry provides an award of 15 thousand Lari (approximately USD 7.5 thousand) for information about kidnapped British citizen Peter Shaw.

There is also a hot phone line in the Ministry but, according to television company Rustavi 2, the investigation has not received any important information about the case.

Georgian General Prosecutor’s Office leads the investigation. The police works round the clock and patrols the roads.

Peter Shaw, director of Agro-Business Bank, was kidnapped in Tbilisi on June 18. He was to leave Georgia in couple days. According to one of the versions, Shaw might have been kidnapped because of his commercial activity.
