Moratorium on Nonferrous Metals Export Suspended
(Tbilisi, June 26, Civil Georgia) – The Parliament adopted draft law on regulation of the nonferrous metals’ export from Georgia on June 25.
Suspension of the moratorium was one of the recommendations of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
On June 24 Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Giorgi Gachechiladze stated that he would resign in case the draft is not approved.
