Russia Rules Out Infiltration of Chechen Fighters from Georgia

(Tbilisi, July 4, Civil Georgia) – Chief of Russian Border Guard Department Konstantin Totski rules out infiltration of the Chechen fighters harboring in Georgia’s Pankisi gorge, to Russian Federation, the Russian media sources report on July 4. 

Russian official says that the border with Georgia is extremely reinforced with the additional border guard forces.

Russia urges Georgia to carry out joint military operation in Pankisi gorge against the Chechen fighters. Georgia refuses proposal.
