Police Search for Lost German Businessman

(Tbilisi, July 5, Civil Georgia) – The police search for German businessman Klaus Ditler Droig, who is missing for several days.

The General Prosecutor’s Office reports that the blood spots have been found in Droig’s apartment in Tbilisi. Georgian Interior Minister stated on July 4 that it too early to claim that Droig was murdered, or kidnapped.

59-year old German citizen is in Georgia since 1995 and together with the foreign partners has a transportation business.

The police also search another foreigner, British citizens Peter Shaw kidnapped from Tbilisi on June 18.

Last December German citizen, Projects manager of the European Commission delegation in Georgia Gunter Beuchel was murdered at the entrance of his apartment in Tbilisi.
