Territory of Georgia Bombed Again
(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, July 30, 2002) – Territory of Georgia was bombed once again in Pankisi region near Nakerala Mountain last night.
Two airplanes flew from Tskhinvali direction to the Pankisi gorge at 03.15 a.m. 30 of July and bombed territory near Nakerala Mountain.
Experts of ministries of defense, security and boarder guard investigate the case to determine precisely which territory was bombed.
According to various sources, there were not serous damages or human life loss.
“This is an explicit aggression against sovereignty of Georgia. If Georgian side does not make sharp diplomatic response, ultimate result would be worse”, stated Irakli Batiashvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security.
