400 Soldiers Search for Abducted Georgian Officer

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, August 19, 2002) – 400 soldiers of collective peacekeeping forces of Tskhinvali region look for the Georgian officer Zurab Durglishvili, who was abducted on 15 of August.

Durglisgvili was abducted near Tskhinvali by four Georgian-speaker kidnappers. According to “Rustavi 2”, an unknown person called peacekeepers and demanded ransom.

Georgian president gave 2-day term to Georgian law enforcement agencies to find Durglishvili.
