Sharp Reactions on Chamber of Control Report

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, August 21, 2002) – MP Davit Bezhuashvili told “Rustavi 2” that the statements made by chairman of the Chamber of Control Sulkhan Molashvili at the government session today are groundless.

Like Bezhuashvili, Koba Davitashvili, one of the leaders of Nationalist Movement, thinks that Molashvili’s statements was a political order.

Sulkhan Molashvili accused both former Minister of Justice and the leader of Nationalist Movement Mihkeil Saakashvili and MP Davit Bezhuashvili of corruption. According to Molashvili, Bezhuashvili illegally purchased almost every gas grid companies in Georgia, while Saakashvili misused 105 000 GEL during his stay in office.
