Russian Ambassador Summoned to the Georgian Foreign Ministry
(Tbilisi, September 11, Civil Georgia) Russian Ambassador to Georgia Vladimir Gudev was summoned to the Georgian Foreign Ministry tonight to hear the position of the Georgian Foreign MInistry regarding President Vladimir Putin’s statement.Deputy Foreign Minister Irakli Antadze, said Putin’s statement is qualified as “threat of use of force and possible attempt at agression.”Ambassador Gudev said Putin’s statement is not a threat, but “a call to take urgent action” against terrorists on the Georgian territory.
