Peter Shaw Left Georgia
(Tbilisi, November 7, Civil Georgia) – British citizen Peter Shaw freed on November 6 after almost 5 month of detention left Tbilisi this morning. Shaw was abducted on June 18.
He was released after the special operation that caused death of one of the kidnappers. The operation was held, allegedly near Pankisi gorge. But the Georgian law enforcers do not specify exactly where Shaw was released.
Before departure in the morning on November 7 Peter Shaw told the reporters that four criminals took him from the hole in the ground where he was kept and they went in the mountain pathway. Shaw said that suddenly someone opened fire, one of the criminals died. He run away and hid in the bushes. After half an hour he walked away and found Georgian law enforcers.
