(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, December 7, 2002) – Three Georgian detectives from the Interior Ministry and the General Prosecutor’s Office left for Great Britain today to interrogate British businessman Peter Shaw, which was held by the kidnapers for 141 days in Georgia.
British citizen Peter Shaw could escape from his kidnappers on November 6 and returned to Britain on November 7. Georgia law enforcers claim Shaw was released as a result of the special operation.
