Opposition MPs Discuss Further Action Plan to Avoid Parliamentary Crisis
(Tbilisi, December 20, 2002. Civil Georgia) – Today opposition MPs meet the Parliamentary Chairperson to discuss the situation in the Parliament that occurred after the walk-out staged by the pro-Presidential factions on December 19.
Because of the pro-presidential five factions’ boycott the Parliament was unable today to start discussion of the 2003 draft budget.
Parliamentary Chairperson said that the pro-Presidential factions’ boycott is directed personally against her.
