Revival Without Faction in Tbilisi Council

(Tbilisi, January 24, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Revival party, backed by the leader of the Adjarian Autonomous Republic Aslan Abashidze, has no faction in Tbilisi Sakrebulo – city council any more, Jondi Baghaturia one of the leaders of the party told Civil Georgia today.

The Revival party had three members in Sakrebulo after the local elections held in June 2002. The Revival faction in Sakrebulo ceased to exist after these three members left the party.

Disagreements in the party revealed after Giorgi Targamadze, one of the leaders of the party left the Revival.
