National Movement Urges for Opposition Alliance

(Tbilisi February 19, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Opposition party National Movement offers all the opposition parties to unite for the upcoming Parliamentary elections.

Koba Davitashvili of the National Movement said at the news briefing today that the party holds talks with the Labor Party, United Democrats and Ertoba party, led by Jumber Patiashvili, former communist leader of Georgia regarding the creation of a joint election block.

?It is vital to unite our forces in order to achieve resignation of President Shevardnadze and change of his government,? Koba Davitashvili said.
