EU Fact-Finding Visit to Caucasus Postponed

(Tbilisi. March 11, 2003. Civil Georgia) – EU Foreign Affairs Commissioner Javier Solana and senior Greek and Italian Foreign Ministry officials postponed visit to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia scheduled for March 10-11.

A Greek Foreign Ministry official told AFP the postponement was caused with the “indisposition of an Azerbaijani official.” President Heidar Aliev is recovering from surgery in the United States.
