Georgia Halts Tobacco Advertisement

(Tbilisi. March 29, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Parliamentary resolution of March 28 bans advertisement on tobacco products via TV and radio.

Representatives of the Association of the Broadcasting Companies at the meeting on March 29 said that halt on tobacco advertising would cause a significant loss in revenue of the radio and TV companies.
