Georgia Concerned Over Iraqi Regime’s War Crimes
(Tbilisi. April 5, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Foreign Ministry statement issued on April 4 says Georgia is concerned with the war crimes and mass violations of human rights by Iraqi regime.
“It is known that such systematic and consistent violations have destroyed the lives of tens of thousands of innocent peaceful population during the last decade,” the statement reads.
Georgian Ministry says that this should be “a matter of serious concern for international community including Georgia”.
Georgia expressed its support towards the US-led war against Iraqi regime.
