Revival to Run for the Elections Independently
(Tbilisi, May 27, 2003. Civil Georgia) The Democratic Revival Union has no plans to ally with any other political party during the Parliamentary Elections, Revival Tbilisi branch chairman Tsotne Bakuria told the journalists.
The Revival Union is backed by the leader of Adjarian Autonomous Republic Aslan Abashidze, who also is the chairman of the party.
Tsotne Bakuria said his party is strong enough to run independently .
He also said any party members who were part to the Revival alliance in the last elections can join into the party, rather than become the members of the new alliance.
