CoE, Local Experts Discuss Financing of Political Parties and Electoral Campaign

(Tbilisi, June 13 2003, Civil Georgia) – A two-day seminar within the framework of the Council of Europe Integrated Project “Making democratic institutions work” started to work on June 12 at the Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel in Tbilisi.

The seminar is organized in co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia and is part of the Council of Europe action plan on measures to contribute to the fair, free and democratic Parliamentary elections in Georgia, scheduled for November 2, 2003.
