(Tbilisi, June 13 2003, Civil Georgia) – Ignacio Iribarren, executive manager of the AES-Telasi, the US company, which distributes electricity in Tbilisi, protested today against the arrest of the company’s financial manager Giorgi Gvichiani.
The police arrested Gvichiani on June 11. He faces charges for the financial fraud.
“He [Gvichiani] is innocent. The company did not suffer with loses because of his financial transaction,” Ignacio Iribarren told the reporters today.
