Kmara Activists Protested Against Disband of Demonstration in Borjomi
(Tbilisi, July 5, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Late on July 4 up to 100 activists of the ?Kmara? (Enough) youth movement staged a demonstration in front of the Parliament protesting disband of the rally of Kmara activists in Borjomi, town in southern Georgia.
?Kmara? activists have already held several protest rallies in Tbilisi and in other cities of Georgia since April protesting against, as they say, ?undemocratic steps of the government.?
On June 11, increasing protest activism of the ?Kmara? resulted in 7-hour long detention of the 9 students who tried to spell Kmara graffiti at the Interior Ministry?s building.
