Kmara Activists Support Hungerstrikers

(Tbilisi, July 10, 2003, Civil Georgia) The activists of the Kmara (Enough) youth movement expressed their support to the members of the Veteran Warriors’ Union of Abkhazia, who continue hungerstrike in front of the building of the Tbilisi-based Abkhaz government (in exile).

The veterans urge for the withdrawal of Russian peacekeeping forces from the conflict zone of Abkhazia.

“The presence of Russian troops on the territory of Georgia is enough. We express our support to the veterans and join them with this slogan”, one of the activists of the Kmara movement Tea Tutberidze said today.
