Power Line Damage Blacked out Tbilisi

(Tbilisi, July 23, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Due to the break down on the high-voltage power transmission line Kartli 2, power supplies were suspended in Tbilisi and several other regions on July 23.

The accident, the reasons of which have not been identified so far, occurred at 13:30 pm.

The facilities of vital importance were blacked out for an hour.
