Kidnappers Released 12-Year-Old Boy
(Tbilisi, September 1, 2003, Civil Georgia) – On August 31 kidnappers released Giorgi Sardanidze, 12, who was abducted on August 29.
The police suppose that the boy was released after his parents paid a ransom.
Giorgi Sardanidze, son of a Kutaisi-based businessman, was kidnapped for the second time this year.
Sardanidze was first abducted six months ago. His family refused to cooperate with the police and paid a ransom for the boy’s release.
