Ethnic Azeris Protest Against Social Problems

(Tbilisi, September 8, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Residents of Jandara village in eastern Georgia, mainly ethnic Azerbaijanis, held a rally today protesting against local authorities.

Ethnic Azeris demanded fair distribution of land, improved supply of electricity and restoration of roads.
