Russia Claims Chechen Militants Harbor in Georgia
Russian border guard officials claim Chechen militants are harboring in Georgia, on the territory neighboring with the Chechen Republic.
?Chechen armed groups are in Chechnya, as well as in Georgia,? Russia media sources reported, quoting Russian deputy chief of the border guard department at the Federal Security Service Alexander Manilov.
Georgia denies presence of Chechen militants in Georgia. According to the Georgian Security Ministry the Chechen armed groups left Georgia, after the anti-crime operation was held in Georgia?s Pankisi gorge last year.
