Abkhaz Opposition Demands to Amend Presidential Law
The opposition movement Aitaira in breakaway Abkhazia urged the parliament of the unrecognized republic to amend the presidential law, in order to elect a new president.
The Aitaira claims that de facto President Vladislav Ardzinba is no longer capable to be in charge of his position, because of his illness, Abkhaz news agency Apsnipress reported.
Ardzinba returned to Abkhazia late in September after three months’ hospital treatment in Moscow.
