CEC Opens Polling Stations Abroad

Under the decree of the Central Election Commission (CEC) 62 polling stations will be opened in foreign cities.

The polling stations will be opened in those 35 cities, where at least 50 Georgian citizens live.

Mikheil Saakashvili, the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council and the leader of the National Movement party, said at a news briefing today that the authorities intend a mass ballot fraud in the polling stations opened abroad.

“We have information that polling stations have been opened in many foreign cities, where only several Georgian citizens live,” Saakashvili said.
