Israeli ex-Premier, Georgian Tycoon Agree on Cooperation

Former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres and Tbilisi-based tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili signed on October 23 an agreement on cooperation between the Peres Center for Peace and Patarkatsishvili?s Charity Fund ?Imedi.?


The agreement implies bilateral cooperation in establishment of peace in the Caucasus and Middle East, as well as joint charitable activity.


Shimon Peres thanked the Georgian people for special attitude towards the Jewish people and called on them to struggle against common problems, such as international terrorism.


The former Israeli Prime Minister arrived in Tbilisi on October 22 on invitation of Badri Patarkatsishvili.
